Create a strong password and confirm it.
Enter your phone number (optional but helps with account recovery).
Complete the verification steps (e.g. phone or recovery email).

iCloud email (Apple)
On your iPhone or iPad: go to Settings → tap your name at the top → iCloud → iCloud Mail (or Mail), then turn on iCloud Mail and create an @icloud.com address when prompted.
On the web: go to icloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID (or create one), then open Mail and create a new @icloud.com email if you don't have one yet.
If you don't have an Apple ID: go to appleid.apple.com and click Create Your Apple ID. You'll get an option to create an iCloud email as part of the process.
